If you use Sleep mode in your Windows PC did you notice that when you move your mouse you wake up your computer from sleep mode? If you prefer to wake you computer only when you press a key on your keyboard instead of moving your mouse this tutorial will help you to learn what changes you need to perform in Windows 7 for your mouse.

To get started follow steps below

Step 1: Click Start menu, inside search field type mouse and from start menu results click on Mouse

Step 2: When Mouse Properties window open select Hardware tab

Step 3: From the Devices list select your mouse click on Properties button

Step 4: Under General tab click on Change settings button

Step 5: Uncheck the box Allow this device to wake the computer and click OK to save changes

Next time when you computer goes to Sleep mode and when you move your mouse you won’t make him up.
