Jailbreak App Developer Decides To Donate All Money For Cancer Research

Filippo Bigarella, developer of popular jailbreak apps and tweaks like Springtomize, PasswordPilot Pro, CleverPin etc. has released a new jailbreak tweak called LivelyIcons. Bigarella says that he will be donating money to two different foundations who focus on pediatric cancer research.

LivelyIcons

LivelyIcons animates Home screen app icons. It is now available on Cydia. It works on the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 6. This app can add fun animations to your iPhone homescreen icons when you open an application. Besides, you have the option to pick from several animations such as:

  • Zoom In
  • Wiggle
  • Spin Clockwise
  • Spin Counter Clockwise
  • Spin Clockwise (Image)
  • Spin Counter Clockwise (Image)
  • Bounce
  • Pacman (Horizontal)
  • Pacman (Vertical)
  • Ripple
  • Shake
  • Random

The LivelyIcons tweak costs $1.99, and after taxes and PayPal fees, Bigarella is left with $1. Bigarella has announced via a blog post that he will be donating all the proceeds from this tweak to two foundations – Città della Speranza, an italian association based in Padova and Because of Ezra, a non profit pediatric cancer research foundation.
