Mark Zuckerberg Joined Google+: Confirmed

Look what we have here. Founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg has also joined Facebook’s rival Google+. And the strange thing about this news is that Mark Zuckerberg has confirmed that he joined Google+.

Initially, many people didn’t believe and concluded that the account is fake. Reports also pointed out that there were 3 accounts under Zuckerberg’s name out which two were confirmed as well. But the third one was not. A technology blogger,Robert Scoble, contacted Mark Zuckerberg to confirm whether this is really him and this is what he got in reply.

Robert tweeted:

Name drop moment. Zuckerberg just texted me back. Says “Why are people so surprised that I’d have a Google account?”

The network was initially invitation based only but Google has removed that condition as well and now, anyone can just login to using their Google account and start using Google+. Google has dominated the search engine market from a long time and now, they have launched another service to compete with the world’s most famous social network, Facebook. After the success of Android, will they be able to achieve the same with Google Plus? Share your views
