For those who are addicted to Facebooking and Twittering are often reluctant to leave their favourite social networks out of their sight. They always want to be online doing one thing or another, after all both these social networks give a lot of reasons for being online round the clock. But while driving, it is instructed not indulge in anything that would distract attention. Not to even attend in-coming calls, because maximum attention is required on the road to avoid harming one’s own self and others. But it seems like automobile companies are the ones who are willing to let go of this rule of thumb by installing in-built social networking options according to Web Pro News.
One of the greediest businesses are often the automobile companies and now they have proven themselves as expected to be, which is, looking only for profit-making. Giving in to the demands of their customers, now the automobiles are planning to install Facebook and Twitter within a car for customers to check their Facebook, tweet, buy tickets to any event and simply check e-mails. This has been planned by major automobile manufacturing companies like Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla, and Ford. They are in fact, working on it right now and Ford has even come out with ways to do it.
Recently, Ford engineers to have on a little exploration of their own. In this, they would have a voice-controlled Sync system through which Facebook could be linked. Ford’s product manager for Sync AppLink even demonstrated how it could be done with Facebook events. Ford Motors have been the first to incorporate this modern communication systems into their dashboards with their Sync technology through which users’ can continue on with their social networking activities on Twitter and Facebook. They can even watch streaming videos and remain updated with the latest news about anything of their interest. All this while of course driving a car and an expensive one at that. No one would wish that such luxury be involve in an accident.
Hence, before this Ford Sync system gets into place, safety has to the first priority. Alongside all of this new technology, Ford is also involved in developing more voice-activated tools which are more health conscious. So far, the government has not made any sound of an alarm saying that it is all a silly idea and that it should be left off on the shelf. No matter how much safe the technology Ford Sync creates, there is bound to be trouble with reckless drivers. But it is never the less better on a car dashboard than on a mobile or a smartphone.
