Pricey And Limited TomTom Navigation App Comes To Android Devices

TomTom has released an Android-version of its navigation application on Google Play two days ago. One negative aspect of the application that already came to light is it doesn’t work on some of the high-resolution newer Android smartphones, including the Samsung Galaxy S III. The older your Android smartphone is, the better are the chances of compatibility. Except for the compatibility issue, the app itself is magnificent. The turn-by-turn navigation easily outperforms its Google Maps counterparts.

Rovio Planning To Release Star Wars Version Of Angry Birds?

Yesterday morning, Rovio teased its fans through a tweet hinting a collaboration between Angry Birds and Star Wars. The tweet termed the ‘collaboration’ to be the “next big thing” from Rovio and leads followers to the Angry Bird Tumblr page where a photo of a bird holding a lightsaber appears. The release event will be held on October 8 at 10 AM eastern time at Times Square, New York. Rovio wants you to,”head to Toys R Us at 8am EST”; hence, we’re assuming you can pick-up the new Angry Bird Star Wars toy in-store then.

Pikachu Themed Nintendo 3DS XL Coming To Europe Soon

During today’s Nintendo Direct presentation the company announced that the bright-yellow Pikachu themed Nintendo 3DS XL will be entering Europe. They lacked further details, including the exact date. Nintendo only noted the device would come “later this year.” The cost in Japan is ¥18,900, equivalent to $238 american dollars, or 183 Euros.
