US Internet Users Viewed 36.9 Billion Online Videos In July: comScore

Market research firm comScore has published a report that shows the growing appetite for online videos among the U.S. internet users. The report shows that a total of 36.9 billion videos were viewed by U.S. internet users in July 2012 alone. Among these, video ads accounted for 9.6 billion, around 20.7 percent of total videos viewed online. The total unique visitors viewing videos online were counted to be 184 million, around 85.5 percent of the total U.S. internet users.

Market researcher IDC has claimed that Microsoft is considerably planning for 3 million surface tablets among which few millions will be produced by 2012. Surface RT Up To $300 Cheaper Than Windows 8 Tablets: Lenovo Chief

World’s second biggest PC maker, Lenovo, has said that the ARM-based Windows RT tablets will be $200 to $300 cheaper than x86-based Windows 8 tablets. The new revelation came from David Schmook, head of Lenovo’s North American operations. He added, ““RT will play in consumer and retail at very aggressive price points.”
