LG Sells More Than 1 Million Optimus G Smartphones

LG has tried hard over the years to gain a sizable foothold into the smartphone market but it hasn’t exactly succeeded. The company has launched a number of high-end smartphones in recent past. At least one of these, namely Optimus G, seems to have picked up some success, with LG announcing that it has now sold more than 1 million Optimus G smartphones.

Apple Shipped Nearly 52 Million iPhones During Q4 Of 2012

During the second quarter of 2012, iPhone sales had considerably slowed down. This was primarily because of the anticipation that surrounded the launch of iPhone 5. Once Apple launched the new smartphone, the sales picked up again and an analyst has now estimated that Apple shipped nearly 52 million iPhone devices during the 4th quarter of 2012!

iPhone 5 Announced For China, Becomes Available By December 14

Apple usually has to undergo a number of regulatory issues before it is able to launch its devices in China. So was the case with iPhone 4S and same has been the case with iPhone 5 which delayed the device’s launch in the country until now. Now, Apple has announced that iPhone 5 will become available in China by December 14.

US Cellular Bringing 4G LTE To 30 New Markets Today
