Samsung has been putting up a major push to make its Galaxy S III handset a success. With the hardware and features packed in this flagship Samsung smartphone, its no surprise that it is witnessing really good sales. But the big question is, will it be able to stand competition from its main rival, the iPhone? It seems that Samsung fairly hopes so.
U.S. Cellular has announced through Twitter that Samsung’s flagship 4G LTE Galaxy SIII will be available for pre-order on the network from June 12. The company will offer Samsung Galaxy SIII 16GB for $199.99 and 32GB for $249.99. Interested buyers will get an option to prepay for the device from June 12 and sign up for updates from June 5 at uscellular.com/gs3. Unfortunately, the price includes $100 mail-in-rebate, even if you want to buy from online. Both models will be available in marble white color, and the 16GB version will also be available in pebble blue color. The operator did not revealed when the shipping will start.
Samsung has confirmed that its flagship Galaxy S III will hit the US and Canada on June 20. The interesting thing is, Galaxy SIII won’t come with a quad-core Exynos processor in Canada. The Canadian Galaxy SIII will come with North American LTE friendly dual-core Qualcomm S4 processor. The phone will also hold 2GB RAM, and will support the country’s major wireless providers.

We have been hearing about Samsung’s cloud storage service, which will be its answer to Apple’s iCloud. So far, news had it that the cloud service will be launched sometime in August this year. However, the latest reports suggest that the service may be launched on May 3rd, about the same time when Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S III is expected to be launched.
