Oracle And Google Fail To Settle Dispute, Will Go To Court

Oracle and Google have been locked in a legal battle over alleged patent infringement for quite a while now. Oracle filed the suit against Google alleging that Google’s Android platform infringed upon a number of Java-related patents which are originally owned by Oracle. Google tried to settle it out of court and made Oracle an offer which was turned down by the latter. And now, the case is all set to be decided in a court.

Google Tries Another April Fool With Gmail Tap

Folks at Google sure like to have fun when the time is right. While they already sent out an April Fool regarding Google Maps for Nintendo, now they are offering yet another one with the idea of a Morse Code keyboard for emails, called Gmail Tap. The idea is that this keyboard will comprise of only two keys – a dot, and a dash. You will be able to produce all the alphabets by different combinations of the two. Why is it useful? Well, it contains two keys while the QWERTY keyboard takes a lot of space.

Google announced their self driving car project in 2010. Their vision was to make this car more enjoyable and more efficient along with safe driving. Though there’s a lot left to design and test the car, but they have already completed over 200,000 miles of computer led driving journey safely. Recently, Google employees choose Steve Mahan to join with them for a special drive on a carefully programmed route to have a technical experiment of the autonomous car. Steve Mahan is nearly blind and sat behind the driving wheel of the car.
