Gartner: Apple Becomes The Top Buyer Of Semiconductors Worldwide

Apple has seen a major surge in it’s growth even since the inception of iPhone and iPad series. Millions of units have been shipped and millions more are expected to ship out in the coming days. Alongside, Apple’s MacBook series is also doing a very good job on the sales. All this has made Apple the largest buyer of semiconductors worldwide, spending about $17 billion on them in 2011. Recently Taiwanese company GeChic has produced a portable laptop monitor. The name of the monitor is On-Lap 1301. The On-Lap 1301 has a 13.3 inch screen with a 1,366 x 768 resolution. There is a USB cable that provides power and a choice of two plug-in signal cables: analogue (mini-VGA to 15-pin D-Sub) and digital (mini-DVI to HDMI).
