The Kinect Fun Labs Gadget is available as a free download for all Xbox Live Gold members and even non-paying Live members can try it out during a limited trial that runs until September 8th. The new chat tool joins a handful of other mini applications offered by Microsoft as part of its Kinect Fun Labs, which launched last month and Microsoft plans to add Kinect Sparkler to that collection of apps, $3 software that tracks hand movements to write with light on a 3D virtual canvas. Those looking to try something else a little different with Kinect will also be able to download the Kinect Sparkler 3D finger painting application…………….

Virgin Media Delivers 1.5Gbps Internet

Virgin Media is redefining what’s considered a fast broadband connection this week as it starts to roll out Internet connections that boast 1.5Gbps download speeds and the fastest broadband connection you can currently get in the UK is 100Mbps with most people only having access to a service that can handle 20Mbps. The testing involves using the new DOCSIS-2 standard to implement the speeds, which are around 240 times faster than current average broadband connections and it allows Virgin Media’s network to provide a future-proved platform with near infinite capacity………………
