Apple’s iPad is available through Verizon Wireless and AT&T.Verizon is selling the WiFi-only iPad bundled with the Verizon MiFi Mobile Hotspot. The package includes a WiFi iPad and a Novatel MiFi 2200 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot, that gives you access to 3G speeds on Verizon’s data network.
GigaOM has reported that Apple’s working on creating a SIM card that will be integrated into the iPhone itself.That means customers will be able to choose their carrier at time of purchase at the Apple web site or retail store, or buy the phone and get their handset up and running through a download at the App Store as opposed to visiting a carrier store or calling the carrier.
