Ocean Robot Completes 9000-Mile Journey From San Francisco To Australia

Remember last year in November, Liquid Robotics® voyaged four wave glider robots in sea in order to attempt Guinness Record through travelling the longest distance across Pan Pacific from the San Francisco Bay, to Japan and Australia? After spending more than one year in water, one robot has completed 9,000 mile (16,668 kilometers) journey between San Francisco and Australia and made a world record.

Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 Twitter Campaign Backfired

Software giant Microsoft unveiled its Windows Phone 8 in an event held at San Francisco October 29. The new OS has a lot of new features as well as apps which have been optimized for use on Windows Phone 8 devices. To promote Windows 8 OS phone indirectly, Microsoft launched a Twitter advertising campaign for Android users where Android users were informed to share “malware horror story.” But somehow that didn’t work; rather that effort of Microsoft backfired.
