Apple Sues Samsung To Ban Sales In Japan

Apple has filed lawsuit against Samsung in Japan, accusing Samsung for violating patents relating to the iPhone and iPad and demanding 100m yen ($1.3m) in damages along with a ban on sales. The lawsuit has been filed in Tokyo District Court, Apple is asking court to ban the sales of Galaxy S and its sequel S II smartphones and the Galaxy Tab 7 in Japan………………..

Apple Free From iCloud Trademark Lawsuit

iCloud Communications drops lawsuit against Apple, decides to change name instead and in addition to having spent more than $550,000 building up its data center and telecommunications hub in Phoenix, iCloud Communications claimed to spend tens of thousands of dollars annually in advertisements using its own iCloud logos. The firm appears to have changed its name to Clear Digital Communications and PhoenixSoft and it’s former domain geticloud.com has been taken down………………..

Near Final iOS 5 Build Is In Carrier Testing

According to 9to5Mac, Apple has seeded certain mobile carriers with a near-final build of iOS 5 and these builds are different from the developer seeds we have seen so far with the enabling of Nuance’s Speech to Text as a system-wide service. Carrier partners are now receiving near-final builds of iOS 5 for testing and in the carrier test build that isn’t in the latest beta 7 release is FaceTime 3G support.
