Apple Killing UDID Access In iOS 5

Apple is making an interesting change in iOS 5, phasing out the ability for developers to access a device’s Unique Device Identifier (UDID) and Apple is instead asking developers to create unique identifiers specific to their apps in order to tie installations to specific users. Developers can distribute a custom app provisioned for use on specific phones identified by their UDID and register this number with Apple to verify the installation of beta versions of iOS and also Apple now asks that the developer create their own UDID for their app, it should be interesting…………….

iPad 3 Confirmed For Early 2012

The WSJ reports that Apple is aiming to launch a Retina Display iPad 3 in early 2012 and will begin trial production in October and it’s thought that Apple was forced to push back the release date for the iPad 3 due to problems with manufacturing the high resolution Retina Display. It all started with John Gruber of Daring Fireball who has a good track record when it comes to Apple rumors, speculating that Apple is planning to launch the third generation iPad in September this year and there is alsoa evidence of iPad 3 in the beta versions of iOS 5 that have been seeded to developers of iOS Developer program……………

HTC Corporation Go For Legal Action Against Apple

HTC drags on the patent war, files yet another complaint against Apple.
