Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC Corp. is accusing Apple Inc. of violating three patents covering smartphones and other technologies and Apple has filed two patent infringement cases against HTC with the ITC. Recently, an ITC judge has found HTC in violation of two Apple patents which appear to be at the core of Android and are likely infringed by all Android devices………………

A new photo claims to show high-speed LTE 4G equipment from AT&T being installed at a major Apple retail store, which increasing speculation that Apple could launch a 4G device in the near future and the spy shot of alleged 4G equipment was sent to Engadget by an anonymous source. Rumors have indicated that the iPhone 5 will be supporting the HSPA+ 4G standard ith Apple reportedly holding off on supporting the more advanced LTE 4G standard for the time being until adoption spreads, but Apple providing its carrier partners with special iOS builds referencing LTE and carriers like AT&T apparently installing LTE equipment on-site at Apple stores…………..
According to sources within Apple’s supply chain partners, Apple has canceled its supply schedule for the iPad 3 in the second half of 2011 because of production constraints for higher-resolution display panels and the iPad 3 is expected to follow in the footsteps of the iPhone 4 and sport a stunning Retina display.
