A few days ago i’ve reported about Jailbreakme 3.0. In that post i’ve mentioned that Comex has confirmed that he is almost close to the end of releasing JailbreakMe 3.0 for iOS 4.3 iPad 2. But it was just a rumor.
TechCrunch have reported that Apple plans to wait until fall to release iOS 5 – an unusual move, as new major iOS releases are usually launched at the beginning of the summer, alongside new iPhones. Apple typically releases major iOS during June along with a new iPhone hardware, like it have been happening since 2007: June 2008, iOS 2; June 2009, iOS3, June 2010 iOS 4.
The developer of Recboot has updated the software a couple of days ago. RecBoot 2.2 is available for download and install. This update fixes several errors, such as the famous error 1015, which are detected by the users as a result of procedures jailbreak, downgrade and upgrade firmware for iPhone, and then exit the Recovery Mode Loop annoying.
Djayb6, has come up with new bundles that support iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad devices running on Apple’s iOS 4.3.1 firmware. These PwnageTool bundles bring tethered jailbreak to iDevices, so you might have to wait for Comex’s upcoming untethered jailbreak.
iFile has updated to version 1.5.0-1 with some bug fixes. The new version of iFile is partially based on Gremlin Libraries just like Celeste. With Celeste getting launched, iPhone users can now send and receive file from iPhone to any other device.
Firecore has updated the aTV Falsh for Apple TV to supports iOS 4.3.1. It brings a new Media Player, native weather, more file formats, HD Remote support for iPhone/iPad apps, better support for RSS apps, various bug fixes and much more.
According to TechCrunch, Apple is ready to seed developers with the first GM release of Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. It’s an interesting rumor. Although they are classifying the release as “GM1,” Apple traditionally releases Gold Masters only a few weeks before the actual software ships.
The waiting has finished. A few minutes ago Saurik, has finally released the most famous Jailbreak package installer Cydia 1.1 to public. It comes a number of fixes, new features, and enhancements to make everybody’s jailbreaking an even more greater experience.
