It is strange to note that in the ongoing war of anti-competition lawsuits, Apple hasn’t been targeted on its strange policy towards third-party browsers for iOS devices. The Mozilla team has cited that until Apple lets it use its own rendering engine, it wouldn’t be releasing any Firefox for iOS.
China obviously keeps a close eye on its internet users and doesn’t like to tolerate political dissent, even in the cyber space. Interestingly, Microsoft is apparently enabling the country to keep track of its Skype users and be alerted every time any Chinese user makes use of a ‘suspicious’ keyword.
