We already know that Colorado-based company Evacuated Tube Transport Technologies (ET3) is determined to make a Hyperloop transport system, to be more specific, a high-speed tube train, that would be able to take us from New York to Los Angeles in 45 minutes! Although Elon Musk, the person who brought the idea of futuristic high-speed tube train Hyperloop, revealed more details of Hyperloop, now 3D model of Hyperloop transport system has been revealed.
The Hyperloop transport system will be able to carry people as well as cars inside aluminum pods and it will move up to 800 mph through a tube. The tubes would be mounted on columns 50 to 100 yards apart. It will be built in such a way that it would be operated unscheduled and weather condition would never be a problem for the system. Elon Musk has also mentioned that Hyperloop would not “crash.”
But at same time, the idea of Hyperloop transport system has raised many questions. There are some people who claim that the plan cannot be implemented, while the other people claim that such a plan is brilliant. However to give the people a realistic idea of how the Hyperloop transportation system would work actually, a company known as WhiteClouds has made a 3D model of the Hyperloop transport system. Have a look at the video below.
According to Jerry Ropelato, CEO of WhiteClouds, “as a company we’re really interested in technology, and I thought it would be fun and interesting to take what we do every day and make the Hyperloop concept into something real. This really demonstrates the possibilities 3D printing offers.”
At present, ET3 is hardly trying to materialize the concept as soon as possible. There’s no doubt that Hyperloop, if ever be built in real life, would bring a revolution in the transportation system.
