Adidas Personalized Shoes: New App Will Let You Print Photos On Sneakers

Modern technology has enabled us to customize things that we couldn’t do before. A couple of decades back no one would have thought that it was possible to customize their shoes in a way as shown in pictures. But now it certainly is. Lately, Adidas has announced that it’ll release a new application for iOS and Android in August which will let people print their photos straight on to its sneakers!

Last year, Nike launched an online service called PhotoiD that analyses your favorite Instagram photos, creates a color palette out of them, and lets you build a sneaker design out of it. And it seems like Adidas has prepared itself to create a similar app for iPhone and Android that will let you take your favorite photos, map them directly onto a pair of ZX Flux sneakers and have them made and sent to you. Here are some images that the app can imprint on the shoe.

At this moment, Adidas hasn’t exactly given a lot of information about the app. But it has posted a brief teaser on Instagram. It is unclear if the app itself will cost money, the service is only being offered to customers that purchase Adidas’ ZX Flux sneakers which cost $85.
