Train is already among most popular transportation in US. Now, the US California railway system is planning to start a high-speed Bullet train linking Los Angeles and San Francisco in less than three hours.
The US state of California has approved the construction of first phase of roughly 130 miles of tracks in the state’s Central Valley, situated between Los Angeles and the state capital Sacramento on Friday. The California authority approved $5.8 billion for the first stretch of construction. The California High-Speed Rail Authority mentioned that the high-speed train system will use “extensively-proven high-speed train technology from Europe or Asia” and it will take 2 hours and 38 minutes from San Francisco to LA.
Construction of the primary stage may begin either at the end of this year or at the beginning of the next year. The LA-San Francisco railway is expected to cost around $68 billion. The transportation service is expected to start in 2018.
