Apple Holding An Event On Sep 9, May Unveil iWatch And New iPad

Apple is going to hold an event September 9. Many people are eagerly waiting to see what products Apple will unveil on that very day. In the meantime, many people have started speculating about the products. However, tech analysts have uttered that on September 9 event, Apple may unveil new iPad and long awaited smartwatch, iWatch.

Apple has long been rumored to be preparing a smartwatch, dubbed as iWatch. But, now it’s confirmed that Apple is making iWatch. However, now the question is when will Apple unveil this smartwatch? Earlier we reported that Apple will unveil long awaited iWatch this fall. And now, we know that Apple will hold an event September 9. So, the entire scenario logically indicates that Apple will unveil iWatch on September 9 event.

However, although nothing has been leaked about the features of iWatch, rumors say that this smartwatch will have the following features:

  • 1.5-inch iPS-LCD Multi Touch display with Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) coated glass (320 x 320 pixel resolution)
  • Simple virtual keyboard
  • Apple A7 Chip
  • iOS 8 running
  • M7 Motion Co-processor
  • 1 GB RAM
  • Three-axis gyroscope, Accelerometer
  • 1.2 MP FaceTime camera with HD video recording
  • Bluetooth 4.0 LE (Low Energy) and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac
  • iOS 7 Custom UI
  • Battery with standby time of up to 10 days
  • IP 55/58 compliant for dust and water proof
  • Holographich projection
  • Built-in ‘Healthbook’ app and sensors

iPad Pro

On the other hand, few days ago we reported that Apple is making a 12.9-inch iPad which will be released as iPad Pro, a tablet that will have larger display than Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2. So it is also possible Apple may unveil that tablet on September 9.

However, Apple has announced on its site that it will live stream the event on September 9. The website also includes a countdown clock and a link for Apple users to add the event to their calendar. Note that, live streaming video requires Safari 5.1.10 or later on OS X v10.6.8 or later; Safari on iOS 6.0 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 6.2 or later.
