This is a good news/bad news scenario. Shapewriter, a keyboard app similar to Swype, has been removed from Android Market. The removal isn’t due to any legal infringements or violation of the market terms of service. Rather, Shapewriter was purchased by another company.
This is a great thing for the people behind Shapewriter, it looks like their product will fit right in with what Nuance has to offer.
Now the only keyboard on the market which uses this new sliding method is SlideIT. I use it for month and it’s a way better then ShapeWriter and Swype.

i found the shapewriter easier to use than slideIT… glad I got it before it was removed!
