ASUS Transformer AiO is the world’s first all-in-one PC which is able to run on both Windows 8 and Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. And most importantly, you can use this device as a desktop PC too. This device also comes with a PC station, equipped with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse that can convert it to a desktop computer.
If you detach the display from the desktop PC Station, ASUS Transformer AiO instantly becomes a king-size tablet, switching itself into an Android 4.1 OS tablet with an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor. There is a button at the side of the device which is made for switching the operating system between Android and Windows 8.
Transformer AiO P1801 specifications include an 18.4-inch LED backlit display (1920 x 1080) with 10-point touch, allowing you to use all of your fingers on the screen at once with 178-degree wide angles viewing. The tab comes with NVIDIA GT 730M graphics with 2GB DDR3,1600 memory, 32 GB of storage, microSD card reader, built-in microphone, a mini USB 2.0 port and a 33W input charging port. According to Mashable “the battery should run for about 5 hours, playing 5 hours of HD video and 15 hours playing music.”
The PC station has an Intel Core i5-3350P quad core processor, with 8GB DDR-1600 memory. The features include an optical drive, SD card reader and a HDMI port and built-in speakers. It weighs around 9 pounds. When you will set the device into PC station, it’ll act like a display.
The ASUS Transformer AiO bundle (Device, PC station, Bluetooth keyboard and mouse) costs $1299 and is expected to be available in April 12 of this year. Till then, stay with us for further updates.
