Do you know what is the fastest growing mobile game currently? It’s Imangi Studios’ Temple Run 2, that was released on January 17 for iOS devices for free. The game has garnered 50M downloads within 2 weeks.

After the massive success of popular mobile game ‘Temple Run’, game publisher Imangi Studios released a sequel – Temple Run 2. After the release, the game was downloaded 20 million times in 4 days from iOS. The Android version of the game has also added to the success. Imangi Studios announced on Jan 31 that the game has gained unprecedented popularity in iOS, Android and Kindle devices.

Temple Run 2 is now the world’s fastest growing mobile game, with 50 million downloads from iOS, Android and Kindle devices in 13 days. Temple Run 2 beats Rovio’s Angry Birds Space that reached 50 million downloads in 35 days in April 2012 and previously held the title of the “fastest 50 million downloads.”
