I believe this article is not meant for the US (obviously). Don’t bother trying to download Kies – it “hasn’t been released for the US yet” (said some customer “no service” agent, to me). I use live chat support once every 10-20 days, and they keep telling me there will be a message or something. Well, I wouldn’t bet on anything, as my wife didn’t even get her maintenance update this week (I had to check for it about 25 times over three days to get it). I just can’t believe how many people like us are SO frustrated over this… I’m always checking, etc., because admit it: the list of updates looks wonderful! I’m so sick of these $200 phones lagging, shutting down, reflecting my voice back at me, dropping calls, other call issues, not sending my emails and texts, and not delivering my messages… so maybe we need to take back our control as consumers in order to get the service we want. Remember when people used to say “the customer is always right”? Well, if you’re under 30, maybe you’ve never heard it at all… and that’s a huge problem.
