Toshiba Bring New 7-Inch Android Thrive Tablet

Toshiba just released the new 7-inch version of its Thrive tablet for $379 16 GB model and $429 for the 32 GB model. This tablet features 7-inch high-resolution 1280×800-pixel widescreen display. And powered by a 1 gigahertz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor. This tablet runes with Android Honeycomb 3.2.

The 2-megapixel webcam is on the front, while a 5-megapixel autofocus camera is on the back. The Tablet including a micro-SD card slot, a mini-USB 2.0 port, and a micro-HDMI port. But the battery lasts only around six hours on a single charge. Toshiba’s own media player and file manager apps, users will find the usual Google apps, such as Android Market, Gmail, YouTube, and Maps. Third-party apps include like Kaspersky Tablet Security, Quickoffice, and a host of games.

    Nice product Toshiba has made in the direction of the tablet.  But will the battery issue make the difference in the product sell or in the demand of people for it?
