There are a number of ways prevalent in the field of psychology to judge the personality of an individual. The most eminent of these indicators is the Myers-Briggs Type indicator. This indicator was coined by the famed psychologist Carl Jung who pretty much reshaped the field of psychology. Now, an infographic shows what kinds of personalities users of different social networks have.


Normally, psychologist categorize human into 16 categories, based on their personality traits. A number of metrics are done to gauge the exact category that an individual fits in, metrics such as Introversion (I) or Extroversion (E), Thinking (T) or Feeling (F) and others. For instance, if you are deemed an ISTJ, that would mean that you are a person who is introvert, sensitive, thinking and judging.

For instance, according to this infographic, the users of Facebook are mostly extrovert. And those with ‘Feeling’ tend to interact more often on Facebook compared to those who are deemed as the ‘Thinking’ types. Also such individuals with a preference for ‘Intuition’ tend to use Facebook more than those with a preference for ‘Sensing.’
