Verizon has added Samsung Gusto 2 Phone with its line up. Samsung Gusto 2 is a simple and durable flip phone. There is a 2-inch main color display (128 x 160 pixels) and an 1-inch sub display on the external shell in the front. The phone includes an upgraded 1.3 megapixel camera. The large keypad makes dialing more easy with dedicated hotkeys for one touch access to the features. Dynamic Voice Enhancement and Bluetooth technology help express yourself clearly no matter where you go.

Chinese telecom gear maker ZTE, which produces the Android based ScoreM smartphone, confirms that there is a security hole in one of its models. The hole, usually called a backdoor, allows anyone with the handsets hardwired password gain root access to any Score phone. This security hole is described by a researcher to be “highly unusual.”

The QR code (Quick Response) is a two dimensions bar code that can be quickly read and decoded by a barcode reader, mobile phone, smartphone, or a webcam. It has the advantage that it can store more information than conventional bar code, and especially data directly recognized by applications. Huawei will start production the Ascend D Quad in June and the handset will only be launched starting July. That means we have to wait more than few months for this phone.
