Same problem the Nextbook3. I called the manufacturer & was told their tech is working on that issue. U can also go to their website under support & send them an email.
Had to return my nextbook3 – I sent it back to manufacturer – not HSN b/c they were out of stock. Took about a week & a half to receive new 1.
During the showing on HSN they said you can play yourtube. That’s the ONLY reason I bought it.

I bought this thing in December on HSN. It was not the great product that it was claimed to be but it was ok for just getting on the internet ad downloading ebooks. I did not get the extended warranty through HSN because this purchase was a splurge for me. Its been ok for what I used it for. But two days ago my daughter dropped it by mistake and cracked the screen. I contacted efun to get the cost of having it repaired and guess what? They do not repair their product unless it is a warranty issue. According to the person I spoke with they don’t even have anyone to repair it. WTF!!!!! Does anyone know where or how to replace the screen on this stupid thing?!
In reference to the youtube app. Mine was also not playing and believe me I was ticked as well. Then one day i was messing with it and a message popped up and asked if I wanted to download the youtube player. I said yes and was able to finally watch the video’s. However that app does not let you search. Also when I would go to the you tube website i still couldnt watch video’s from there. So I downloaded another app called “Best Tube” This one allows you to search but it will ask you which player you want to open the video with. I have to use the original youtube player to actually watch it because “best Tube” says my operating system isn’t fast enough. it seems like a pain in the arse but it’s not really that bad because it does automatically prompt you and you don’t have to close out of one to use the other. I hope this is somewhat helpful.
E FUN does not answer their phones – has poor (no) customer service. I will try to return my defective unit back to HSN.
I purchased a Next2 and cant seem to get it to work very welll for me. I had 2 technicians too check the settings for WiFi, or Internet and general set up and we all had problems. Could someone help me solve these problem. I feel like getting rid of it. I dont want to sale it but I need a working device.

I just recently recieved a NextBook 2 device for my birthday and am trying to figure out how to purchase my first ebook on it and I found a ebook that i wanted to purchase and “tapped” the buy now icon and it didn’t go through it said oops there was an error please try again later and I have numerous times and I get the same response. 4) I CANNOT DOWNLOAD ANY BOOKS FROM MY BOARDERS BUILT IN BUTTON. I CAN GET TO THE SITE, READ THE SYNOPSIS, BEGIN DOWNLOAD AND ALWAY GET DUMPED. BOARDERS DOESNT HELP AND YOU THINK THEY WOULD WANT TO HELP ME SINCE I’D BE BUYING BOOKS. YOU CAN FORGET ANY OF THE MANY OFFERED FREE E-BOOKS. I THINK AS SOON AS ITS FREE ITS A BATE AND SWITCH AND THEY PRETEND TO LET YOU DOWNLOAD A FREE BOOK AND THEN ALMOST LOADED THEY DUMP YOU. I TRIED MANY BOOKS.
4) I HAVE NO MANUEL TO FIND OUT, WHEN A TYPE LABORIOUSLY, A LONG E-MAIL, ON LETTER AT A TIME AND SAVE IT AS A DRAFT…WHERE DO I RETURN TO GET IT? I don’t know if this will help…but one of their reps tolds me that barnes and noble is no longer selling their books but are allowing kobo to sell the books. So he told me to download the “kobo application” from the app store, but I can’t find the app. He put transferred me and I was on hold forever….so I hung up and have been searching on my laptop, on the tablet and my smart phone for the location of this app so that I can download it. Sorry too much info. huh? Hope it helps.

I had the same problem! I Just got it yesterday and my youtube wasn’t working. So I called costumer service and a nice guy answered and he was like I know exactly what your talking about I have one too and The youtube doesn’t work. He said that they are still working on the new up to date software or something for youtube and you have to wait a week before it comes out. So after that I hung up with him and it said that i could download a new software which I did and now the youtube videos work. But they Just lag. Which sucks. I got this for my birthday and I’m not happy with it. Now My battery will only charge half way and its been charging for three hours straight!! And this is only day two. I’m going to tell my parents to send this back ASAP!
