With Camera Launcher For Nexus 7 Now You Can Take Photos

It’s known that Nexus 7 has no rear camera. Therefore Google developers hasn’t made any camera app. In fact, Google only wanted the front camera for the basic video chats and other conferences. For this, users couldn’t take photos and record videos at their will. But, a familiar Android developer recently has released an app that allows the users snap photos and record videos using front-facing camera of Nexus 7 at their will.

We know that Nexus 7 has a 7-inch HD IPS display, quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and many more. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Though it lacks a rear camera, but still you can get Nexus 7 at a competitive price of $199.

But, it’s been reported that Paul O’Brien of MoDaCo has published an app on the Google Play Store which is a dedicated camera app for the Google Nexus 7 and would help users to take pictures and also record videos at 720p with the 1.2 megapixel front facing camera. The app also gives users access to various face effects added in Ice Cream Sandwich and enjoy the front camera other than for video chats.

The app is available for free and can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. The app is easy to install. No rooting of the tablet is required and no special permission to install it is to be granted.

Nexus 7 tablet is going to hit the shelves in selected countries in July. Don’t forget to let us know what you think of the app by leaving a comment.
