Microsoft Starts Advertising Windows 8 On TV

We already know that Microsoft’s latest operating system Windows 8 is going to be launched on October 26. About 10 days is left for till the launch event. And to promote this new operating system, Microsoft has started airing TV commercials.

Microsoft posted a very short update about the start of the ad campaign on the Microsoft Windows Team Blog. It is expected that the Windows 8 commercials will be appearing most prominently during the Sunday National Football League games before being used in commercial breaks for other TV shows. As expected, Microsoft officials have declined to reveal the budget for promoting the ads of this operating system in TVs.

Currently Windows 8 ads are focusing Windows 8 PCs and the Windows 8 Metro interface. A number of Windows 8 devices are on display in select stores and available for pre-order online.
