[Rumor] Amazon Building Its Own Smartphone, May Release In June

Amazon is such an online shop where you can get almost every electronic devices as well gadgets at cheapest price. Usually, Amazon sells others’ products, but now a rumor is swirling around that Amazon is building its own smartphone and may release it in June.


Wall Street Journal has reported that some reliable sources familiar with the matter have informed that Amazon has been demonstrating versions of the handset to developers in San Francisco and its hometown Seattle in recent weeks. The sources have briefed that Amazon is planning to distinguish its smartphone from competitors by offering a glasses-free 3D display. The device would utilize retina-tracking technology and four front-facing cameras to make images appear to be 3D.

According to the sources, Amazon may announce the phone by the end of June and begin shipping phones by the end of September, ahead of the holiday shopping season. As Amazon hasn’t said anything regarding this matter, so we’ll have to wait to know the real facts. Keep an eye on us.
