Motorola Droid 3 specs Leaked

The Motorola Droid 3 QWERTY slider is coming to US, according to an internal Verizon document obtained by AndroidCentral. The Motorola Milestone XT883 has just launched in China, Droid 3 will be one of the first Verizon phone to ship with Android Gingerbread (2.3), though it won’t work on the speedy LTE/4G network. The screen resolution has already been all but confirmed at qHD resolution (that’s 540×960), and it’s repeated here as well, with a 4-inch diagonal screen size. That said, it is a world phone designed for both GSM and CDMA. It even comes with pre-installed with a GSM SIM card.

Droid 3 features a 4″ display with qHD resolution touchscreen (540×960), a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 16 GB of internal storage, 8-megapixel rear camera with 1080p HD video recording and LED flash, a front-facing camera, and can double as a mobile hotspot for up to 5 devices. There is a microSD card slot that accepts up to a 32 GB card, but won’t include a starter card. Of course, there is the slide-out QWERTY keyboard with a “5 row” design that includes a “dedicated number row,” in addition to an on-screen keyboard with Swype and voice-to-text capabilities.

Working our way down the list: Other items of note are the slide-out five-row keyboard, which will be supplemented by Swype. Adobe Flash and DLNA support are there as well, as is the usual VCAST service, and Blockbuster video (downloadable over Wifi only). movies via Wi-Fi, has VZ Navigator, supports video conferencing and provides access to the Amazon MP3 store and Rhapsody.

According to InfoSync, an earlier rumor pegs the launch date of the Droid 3 as July 7 but Verizon has not indicated confirmed or denied. Pricing is also not confermed at this point.
