Fujitsu DL Pad Windows 7 Tablet

Fujitsu is working on enterprice tablet PCs and anounced their new 12.1-inch Windows 7 tablet named DL Pad for the Japan company Dai-ichi life,but the prospects are that such a device will be available to other businesses and potentially consumer too……

With the announcement of the DL Pad Fujitsu is still being pretty secretive on the specs the touch tablet features. The only tid-bits known are that the DL Pad will feature a 12.1-inch touch display, measure in at approx. 20mm thick, weight 950 grams, run Windows 7, come with USB connectivity, come with a 3MP camera, offer 7 hours battery life and feature the ability to be locked and/or have files wiped remotely to prevent the loss of important data.The most important piece of info has been left out, the processor that powers the DL Pad is unknown at the moment. The presence of Windows 7 and this being an enterprise tablet indicate the device runs on an Intel platform processor. The exact platform is yet to be seen, the DL Pad could run on the old Pine Trail platform or it could use the new Oak Trail platform.
