The new Nexus 7 is now available for pre-order at Google Play Store in the U.S. The Nexus 7 is the first device to get the new version of Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) operating system.
The new Nexus 7 packs a HD screen with 1,920×1,200 pixels resolution, 1.2 MP front and 5.0 MP rear cameras, connectivity such as dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. Powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB RAM and an Adreno 320 GPU, also used in the Samsung Galaxy S4. There’s support for wireless charging using any Qi-compatible charger also.
You can order this device right now on Google Play store. The 16GB Wi-Fi-only model is priced at $229, the other 32GB Wi-Fi-only model is for $269 and a 32GB 4G LTE version will retail for $349. The Google Play store says the device will be shipped by July 30, 2013.
