NASA developed its last major prototype ‘spacesuit’ in 1992. Since then NASA hasn’t made any new prototype of spacesuit till to date. But now NASA is designing a prototype spacesuit called Z-1, which NASA plans to use possibly after 2015 missions. The interesting thing about this prototype spacesuit Z-1 is it has vast resemblance to the dress (spacesuit) of a cartoon hero named Buzz Lightyear in “Toy Story.”

NASA Announced To Send A New Rover To Mars In 2020

Mars rover Curiosity, which is exploring the red planet Mars, carries one of the biggest successes of U.S. space agency NASA. After the successful landing of Curiosity on Mars on August 5, NASA announced on 20 August that it will send a new mission to Mars in 2016. Three months later the space agency announced on December 4 that it plans to send another new “robotic science rover” to Mars in 2020.

NASA Orders Encryption Of All Its Data After Losing A Laptop

NASA recently lost a laptop from the locked vehicle of one of its employees. The laptop contained data which NASA said was ‘sensitive personally identifiable information.’ More importantly, it wasn’t encrypted. To counter any such future incidents, NASA has now ordered all data on its portable computers to be encrypted.
