Apple Cancels iPad 3 Orders For 2011 Due To Retina Display Issues

According to sources within Apple’s supply chain partners, Apple has canceled its supply schedule for the iPad 3 in the second half of 2011 because of production constraints for higher-resolution display panels and the iPad 3 is expected to follow in the footsteps of the iPhone 4 and sport a stunning Retina display. Apple iPad 3 will be mass-produced as per original schedule and it requires a bigger backlight, however a singer edge light bar doesn’t comes up to satisfactory levels and this could also delay the launch of Apple’s next iOS tablet……………

The BBC Introduce A New Version Of BBC iPlayer For TV

BBC release a version of its iPlayer on this side of the Atlantic, it’s already upgrading UK PlayStation 3s with a brand new interface. BBC iPlayer on TV is personalised, specifically designed for the living room, and easy to use and allows to control they want directly on the TV. The new UI is built on HTML5 and CE-HTML with an eye towards rolling it out easily on other devices soon, but there’s also plans for a version built with Adobe Flash and AIR technology. Apple Interested More In Lightweight Notebooks

Shipments of Apple’s just released third-generation MacBook Air from the supply chain already reached 400,000-500,000 units in June and the volume is expected to remain strong throughout July and August and with this report, may be Apple interested more in lightweight notebooks. Apple’s latest MacBook Air is set to be yet another huge success for the company and pple announced shipments of its Macs during the third quarter reached 3.95 million units, a 14% increase over last year’s numbers.
