Next MacBook To Adopt With SSD On Motherboard

Apple’s upcoming refresh of the MacBook Air will get more than just new Intel processors and also referred to as solid-state drives or SSDs in the upcoming MacBook Air will use a technology called Toggle Mode Double Data Rate NAND Flash 2.0 (Toggle DDR 2.0). DDR 2.0 provides a tenfold increase over the 40Mbps Single Data Rate (SDR) NAND flash in widespread use today and there is only one supplier of 19nm NAND, the smallest process in the world, and that is Toshiba with a 64Gbit, 2-bit multi-level cell (MLC) chip announced in April. Such a configuration would see a significant improvement in speed and the new computers are set to launch on the same day as the Lion operating system update…………

No More Unlimited Data Transfer On Verizon From 7th Of July

Verizon’s usage-based plans have become so abundant that it’s been nearly impossible to shake off with any amount of skepticism and official word from the carrier itself regarding the exact date and specific pricing. Verizon finally cleared its throat to make a statement confirming the inevitable and the unlimited smartphone data plan will predictably make a sad and sudden departure from the company’s brochures. Verizon is making its newest customers pick from four data plans capped at between 75 megabytes and 10 gigabytes of data and the monthly data fees range from $10 for the 75-megabyte plan to $80 for the 10-gigabyte plan………….

InMobi Reports Apple iPad As The 6th Largest Advertising Device Across Europeo

iOS has pretty substantial marketshare in Europe, but it also appears to hold a pretty large slice of the advertising pie in Europe and mobile specialist InMobi has released a report that identifies the iPad as the sixth largest advertising device in Europe, based solely on ad impressions. Apple iPad accounted for over 80 million ad impressions in Europe, helping push Apple past all other manufacturers in terms of ad requests with an overall share of 19.5% and iPhone remains the most popular handset………..
