After the success of Wii U, Nintendo is planning to launch Wii U Mini at $99 this December. The release will be limited to Canada, at the start.
Nintendo Wii U console is set to arrive on November 23. According to GameStop, the pre-order of Wii U has already surpassed 1.2 million units.
Nintendo’s Wii U gaming console will sell for $299.99 when it hits the market on November 18th. The company’s chief executive notes these consoles will initially be sold below manufacturing costs.

During today’s Nintendo Direct presentation the company announced that the bright-yellow Pikachu themed Nintendo 3DS XL will be entering Europe. They lacked further details, including the exact date. Nintendo only noted the device would come “later this year.” The cost in Japan is ¥18,900, equivalent to $238 american dollars, or 183 Euros.
Nintendo has announced that its most awaited Wii U game console will hit U.S. stores on November 18. The Japanese gaming giant will release two versions of Wii U; both the versions bundled with a tablet sized controller.
The successor of the Wii called Wii U’s specifications has been announced by Nintendo. Earlier this year, the company unveiled the Wii U Gamepad at the E3 game conference and after the conference, till yesterday there had been no official word about the specifications of the upcoming Wii U game console. Nintendo has updated its Wikipedia page on September 12 and now it is confirmed that Wii U will come with 8GB of internal flash memory. This device will be available during the fourth quarter of 2012.
Nintendo hasn’t been doing really great. Whereas it has been able to sell a total of 17 million 3DS devices ever since their launch, the company’s overall performance is going down. And the reason for that can be seen in the booming business of smartphone devices which are becoming more and more integral to today’s gaming experience.
