Verizon Will Launch Live TV Streaming App For iPad In 2012

Apple users have been eagerly anticipating the launch of a Verizon app through which they could stream Live TV. Verizon already introduced it’s Live TV service available on Xbox 360. The company had originally announced about more than a year ago that a streaming app for iPad will be introduced but so far, company hadn’t given in a date. According to latest reports, however, a Verizon representative at CES 2012 said that Verizon will be releasing the app for iPad in 2012.

Adobe Flash 11 And AIR 3 Now Available

Adobe Flash 11 and AIR 3 hits the tubes delivering with it a host of new features, including hardware acceleration for 2D and 3D graphics, at least for desktops and Stage 3D support will be added to the mobile variants for Android, iOS and BlackBerry at a later date. AIR 3 sprucing up connected entertainment devices, like Samsung SmartTVs with the ability to deliver Flash-based games and content to your home theater system and Adobe has baked in support for both Dolby Digital and DTS surround sound. That means both 5.1 and 7.1 sound can be built into an AIR app and the announcement took place during the company’s MAX conference…………….

Adobe To Release Flash Player 11 And Air 3

Adobe Systems has launched Flash Player 11 and Adobe AIR 3, enabling 3D games over the Internet to nearly all PCs and many other devices. Adobe is finally enabling 3D games inside its Flash media player and its Adobe Air software coming in October. The new features in Flash and Air enable a wide variety of special effects and now developers will be able to animate millions of objects in a 3D scene with smooth 60 frames per second animations………………..

The BBC Introduce A New Version Of BBC iPlayer For TV

BBC release a version of its iPlayer on this side of the Atlantic, it’s already upgrading UK PlayStation 3s with a brand new interface. BBC iPlayer on TV is personalised, specifically designed for the living room, and easy to use and allows to control they want directly on the TV. The new UI is built on HTML5 and CE-HTML with an eye towards rolling it out easily on other devices soon, but there’s also plans for a version built with Adobe Flash and AIR technology.
