Sony To Make Electric Vehicles Batteries

Sony will start manufacturing lithium-ion batteries specifically for electric cars and hybrids and demand for these batteries will surely increase as more people buy hybrids and electric cars, so Sony says it is prepared to build dedicated plants for this purpose too. Sony will be competing against the likes of fellow Japanese company Panasonic in this realm along with other battery makers around the world and we should start seeing Sony-branded battery packs for electric and hybrid vehicles by about mid-decade………………

Microsoft now owns Microsoft-Sony.com and Sony-Microsoft.com, the most immediate thoughts of what the domains could be used for turn to a joint gaming console venture between the two companies. The move is worth noting if only because the company doesn’t own similar domains and it could be something as mundane as a joint marketing campaign for Sony laptops or nothing at all…………..

The Sony NEX-7′s image has just leaked out. No idea on whether this is the official image or not! One of my sources said the image is original but the final model could have some differences. Perhaps this is a red herring that Sony threw out to the masses just to mislead them? There are so many possibilities, so it really depends on which side of the divide you are on.
