Google TV 2.0 Update To Arrive Next Week

When the launch of Google TV was announced there was a great optimism from Technorati and no one knows what went wrong that this did not make in the market as big as this was expected following the grand success of Android. Despite launching Google TV with Logitech and Sony as key partners, they did not have the take off as expected and Google announced that early next week it will launch a major software update intended to significantly improve the functionality of the Google TV software. Google admits that Google TV has had its problems, but with this update they hope to address some of them and owners of Sony’s Google TV-equipped televisions will see the update as early as next week, Logitech Revue owners will have to wait until soon thereafter…………………

Samsung Become World’s Top Smartphone Manufacturer

Samsung has now become the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer, leaping past Apple, which held the title for just one quarter and Samsung shipped 27.8 million smartphones last quarter, accounting for 23.8 percent of the smartphone market, compared to Apple’s 17.1 million units shipped. Even though Nokia has been in a heavy transition period they managed to hold onto 3rd place with 16.8 million smartphones shipped, claiming 14.4% market share and RIM, LG, Sony Ericsson, Motorola all make up the others category. While Apple is expecting all-time record iPhone sales during the current quarter as the iPhone 4S rolls out around the world and it still may not be enough to overcome Samsung’s significant lead and strong growth…………………
