Well, apparently George Hotz, the hacker who attacked PlayStation 3 and got into a war with the giant Sony and became famous for releasing a jailbreaking solution for the original iPhone in 2007 seemed to have left behind his hacking days after he accepted a regular full day job at Facebook. The legal battle with Sony ended last April when the two parties signed a settlement. But as the true thrill seeker that Geohot is, he still has in his blood the challenges of high profile hacking.

Gartner: Apple Becomes The Top Buyer Of Semiconductors Worldwide

Apple has seen a major surge in it’s growth even since the inception of iPhone and iPad series. Millions of units have been shipped and millions more are expected to ship out in the coming days. Alongside, Apple’s MacBook series is also doing a very good job on the sales. All this has made Apple the largest buyer of semiconductors worldwide, spending about $17 billion on them in 2011. Second in the list is Samsung followed by HP, Dell, Nokia and Sony respectively. Is Next Generation Call of Duty In The Verge Of Making?

Apparently, Infinity Ward the studio behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is looking for a new team member in a key position. The company is interested in hiring a senior animator who has “an interest in working with next-generation technologies”. The inquisitive tech reporters were unable to find out more details from the job listing. The new employee is expected to work in California-Encino and he or she is required to be able to “create high quality realistic key-framed and motion capture animations, demonstrating a strong sense of posing, timing, and weight” and to play nice with others.
