Apple TV, The Most Awaited Product At CES 2012?

With all the plethora of impressive TV sets presented these days in Las Vegas at the Consumer Electronics Show, everybody noticed one unexpected absence: Apple TV. As Apple insider put it, the much rumored Apple television was “the elephant in the room”. Large screens with OLED technology (or even Super OLED in Samsung’s case), 4K LED TVs with impressive resolution, smart TVs from notorious brands presenting intriguing features such as motion and voice control, couldn’t erase the curiosity for Apple’s TV project rumored to reshape the living room entertainment.

SanDisk Skips On The New XQD memory

Apparently, SanDisk officials decided that the high end memory card for sophisticated cameras is not going to be a product worth considering. As SanDisk spokeswoman Wendy Vlieks stated clearly for CNet recently, “at this time, SanDisk has chosen not to productize the XQD format.”

CyanogenMod Passed The 1 Million Downloads Milestone

CyanogenMod, the Android based utility allowing users to install a custom Rom to improve the performance of their devices touched an important milestone, which means “1 million unique, active, user installs,” as the official page states. Steve “Cyanogen” Kondik started the project and an impressive number of users soon understand the advantage of extending their smartphones capabilities not only with up-to-date custom ROMs but also with added features and utilities.
