It seems like Amazon is finally preparing to up the competition against Apple’s iPad line of tablets. While Amazon earlier didn’t say that Kindle Fire was a competitor to iPad, the tone of the company has changed recently. And now, rumors are on the go that Amazon may decide to release a 9-inch Kindle Fire by the end of second quarter of 2012. This has been claimed by Pacific Crest analyst Chad Bartley.

iPad 3 Rear Shell Photos Revealed, Show Many Changes

As we near the expect iPad 3 launch in March, more and more sources are claiming to know some ‘inside scoops’ about the device. This latest claim comes from RepairLabs who has posted some ‘leaked’ photos of iPad 3 rear shell. In these photos, the rear shell of iPad 3 is significantly different than iPad 2. The space for battery is larger, affirming the rumor that the battery of iPad 3 will provide more life to the device. The camera also looks different from iPad 2 whereas the mounting dock for LCS is also significantly different from that in iPad 2.
