Hasselblad going to acquired by Ventizz Capital Fund, will explore ‘brand new markets’. Hasselblad, the premium medium format camera manufacturer, is planning a rapid expansion of cutting edge capture products and is set to target new imaging markets following the company’s acquired by Ventizz Capital Fund IV. This is a private equity firm based in Switzerland and Germany. No one disclosed any financial details, but Ventizz said it will implement “no major structural or key management changes” at its newly acquired company.

Toshiba Thrive WiFi Tab Coming To Best Buy On July 10th

Toshiba’s Thrive the 10.1-Inch Honeycomb tablet to hitting July 10th according to Best Buy’s inventory database. The pre-orders for the 10.1-inch pad got underway June 13th, and though we’ve long been hearing it would go on sale July 10th, Toshiba has only been giving a loose ETA of mid-July. This Thrive 10.1-Inch Honeycomb tablet is also available in Amazon.com for pre-order all the 8, 16, 32 GB model.

Nexus S 4G Skype 2.0 Hotfix Enables Video Calling

The Skype app received quite a large update that brought an enhanced interface to everyone, but video calling to only a few select devices. Skype 2.0 hotfix enables video chat on Sprint’s Nexus S 4G.
