July 19, the rumored US launch of Dell’s Streak, has passed but there’s still hope for people who want the mobile device as the PC maker has confirmed Streak will be available for purchase in the US of A ‘in late July’.
Alright folks. Dell has finally spilled the beans in the official sense about the upcoming Streak which had been rumored to be dropping on July 19th. Unfortunately, it’s not July 21st and the Streak isn’t out yet but fortunately, it will be in the next few days.

Streak, which is currently available in the UK, features a 5-inch touchscreen, a 1GHz Snapdragon chipset, a 5 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, 2GB of internal storage, and runs Android.
The only deal breaker in the Dell Streak is its Android build, which is Android 1.6. Android 1.6 is a very old build, but Dell said that they will launch the Android 2.2 for Dell Streak before the end of this year. So if you have patience in yourself, then get it and wait!
