Mozilla has rolled out Beta 4 of its Firefox browser for Maemo and Android devices. It boasts faster page-load times, better JavaScript handling, reduced memory usage, and support for restartless add-ons that are currently making their debut in the desktop version of the Firefox 4 beta.

The main feature that this beta version has brought is, as I said earlier, the speed improvements across the board. Also, this release is the fastest performing Firefox 4 beta for mobile so far. Apart from faster start-up , page-load times, it has responsiveness to panning and zooming. Also, Firefox 4 beta for Android offers more than 100 Firefox add-ons to customize the features, functionality and look of your Web experience.

Other advancements in this release include increasing stability, reducing installation memory usage, improving readability with zooming, and fixing some keyboard issues.
