Acer has announced their latest Android smartphone, and following the pattern of many others, they have announced the handset without offering anything in terms of availability.This new smartphone features 2.8-inch TFT LCD display with QVGA resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, 3.2 megapixel camera, FM tuner, satellite receiver navigation system GPS,and a lots more. It is powered by 600MHz processor and supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE, and UMTS/HSDPA networks. The new device also includes Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity options.
Acer says for the new phone that it combines the pocketability, usability, and ergonomics in compact body with chrome trims and rounded lines which measures 104.5 x 55.8 x 12.8 mm and weights 115 gr. The beTouch E140 is powered by 600MHz processor and has a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen. Connectivity options includes support for 3G+, HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and GPS. It is alo equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera, an FM radio with RDS, MicroSD card (up to 32GB) and a packs a 1300 mAh battery.
Acer also integrated a wide series of pre-installed applications in the phone like Acer Spinlets streaming service that allows you to listen to the music of the most important recording labels and post it instantaneously on your favourite Social Networks, also nemoPlayer for your multimedia contents and of course Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter applications.
The price of the Acer beTouch E140 is expect to be around 199 euro.
